WindsorCares was founded in 2007 to assist families that are uninsured or underinsured who face monumental debt from medical treatment. We also will be helping children who have need of assistance with medicine outside of coverage. WindsorCares was birthed as a direct result of an incident when a 14 year old, Trenton Ditus, was bitten by a rattlesnake which resulted in a 5 day stay in Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. The family is uninsured and unable to pay the bill which will be somewhere around $85,000. This amount is a drastically reduced amount based on generous discounts from Poudre Valley Hospital To date, WindsorCares has assisted 3 eligible families Click on the names above for more information |
